Meet the Queen!

The QDRO Queen is DULCE B. FAZEL, the owner and managing attorney of DULCE B. FAZEL, P.A.

Mrs. Fazel received her undergraduate degree from the University of North Florida, earning a BBA in Finance (corporate track) and her J.D., with Honors, from Florida Coastal School of Law.  She has been a practicing attorney for 20 years, and was a family law & litigation paralegal for 18 years prior to that.  She is a member of The Florida Bar Family Law Section and the Appellate Section, as well as the Middle District of Florida federal bar.

Ms. Fazel handles QDROs and similar retirement-division orders (including military pension division order, TSP/FERS, federal civilian pensions, railroad retirement benefits, Florida Retirement Service investment plans/pension, and general private company pensions) for cases throughout the state of Florida. Each one of the retirement plans is different, and requires special language and information specific to that particular plan.  That’s where an attorney, such as the Queen, who is well-versed in the process, is invaluable.  She completes the process, and helps clients actually receive the benefits that they negotiated for in their divorce.

Mrs. Fazel was transplanted to Florida when she and her family emigrated from the Philippines back in 1974. She went to middle school, high school, college, and law school in NE FL.  She is a mother of adult twins, and married to a software engineer.
